Managed funds
The quarterly Managed Funds Survey (MFS) covers funds under management (FUM) with more than 20 large fund management groups, in five product categories: life insurance; Kiwisaver; all other superannuation; unit trusts, and ‘all other funds’. Domestic FUM are classified by asset category (eg, cash, fixed interest, equities) while overseas assets are not. Total FUM are allocated between households and ‘all other sources’ of FUM.
