Biography:

Yuong has worked in a number of roles and teams in the Bank since joining in 1997, including in Financial Markets Research, Modelling, Forecasting and Macro-Financial Stability. He has also spent some time outside the Bank (Statistics New Zealand, the IMF). He currently manages the Modelling team within the Economics Department, and has previously been the Manager of Forecasting.

• Economic forecasting
• Macro modelling
• Macro-prudential policy
