Biography:

David joined the Bank in 2008, after completing an honours degree in Economics at the University of Canterbury. He is currently in the Issues and International Team, undertaking research on both international and domestic economic issues.

Current research interests:

  • The impact of Asian growth on New Zealand trade
  • International input-output analysis
  • Developments in the international trade in services
  • Monetary policy rules under uncertainty
