Biography:

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Economics at Otago University in late 2007, Chris joined the Forecasting Team at the Reserve Bank as an Economic Analyst. Currently, his main responsibility is forecasting net exports. This role includes forecasting various components of the terms of trade and the current account.

Current research interests:

• A stratified house price measure for New Zealand
• Monitoring international commodity prices
